作者简介：

Allen Downey is a Professor of Computer Science at the Olin College of Engineering. He has taught computer science at Wellesley College, Colby College and U.C. Berkeley. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from U.C. Berkeley and Master's and Bachelor's degrees from MIT.

@ Seal Huang 统计知识讲得不是很数学，但给的解释和应用范例很有意思 @ fishball 老實說我覺得還不錯，這本可是少數有資料有方法實幹型的書比很多隨便講幾個例子舉幾個定理的書著地 @ 好奇心害死猫 作者把全书电子版放到网上让大家免费阅览实在让人非常感谢。从内容上来讲有些过于简略浅显，导致无论是关于我熟悉的内容的章节还是未学过的章节都没有学到太多 @ 蝉 :无 @ reneryu 如果只会Python，要用Python进行结果分析和画图，数学早就忘光光，明天又是deadline，就是这一本了！ @ NotAnonymity 从怎么用python写统计相关的知识的角度出发的。整本书围绕一个案例讲的，所以比较好懂 @ 木木夕 好书, 适合初学者 @ Tinc0 其实icl开学第一堂课教数据分析是平均数和方差，很好羡慕老外的初高中的知识树，也难怪GRE数学这么简单。所以我一直觉得中国初高中的数学和物理课的讲的太难了，就为了高考，有个屁用。 @ LionHeart 太浅显了点 @ Kevin Lee 一本介绍统计学的入门书，以python作为代码实现。一个有特色的地方是在介绍统计学概念的时候都直接引用了维基百科的条目，供读者自行查阅。自己读下来觉得不算很难，程序员可以借此入门统计学。
