@ ali0438 1 star more for the author’s perseverance and thoroughness, and being (relatively) objective. Thanks for the effort otherwise I’d have nowhere to examine the part of the history that’s so fundamental and important to even today’s corporate world (still). @ Eric 80年代Drexel王朝的兴衰史，junk bond king Milken成就了Carl Icahn，Nelson Pelz这样的corporate raider，一己之力为high yield 和后来的private credit做市。如今的milken institute年会就是predator ball的一个延续吧？本书很典型的纽约客杂志记者的口吻，对于Milken的deals和周遭的人都有翔实的细节记述，但奈何Milken本人太过低调，难免有一种雾里看花的感觉。 @ 石白 金融巨擘的传记，部分内容写的稍显晦涩。80年代迈克尔米尔肯就被罚了11亿美元，财富肯定是世界前几了。这是一个又聪明又极努力的人，开辟了垃圾债券市场，不服不行。 @ RDX Deal making细节丰富，故事也性也很强，其实是不错的学习教材。可惜是老书了，希望能有一本类似的新书就好了。 @ Gary 这本书写的有点一言难尽，白瞎了Mike Milken这么个狠角色
