作者简介：

Allen Downey is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Olin College of Engineering. He has taught computer science at Wellesley College, Colby College and U.C. Berkeley. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from U.C. Berkeley and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from MIT.

@ 凝霜 简洁明了，初学者入门经典。 @ Terry Chen 本书优点是生动有趣，适于入门者阅读。但平心而论在 Python 和 CS 方面都不够深入，不少地方没有引导读者思考而是过早给出代码，而且结构稍显混乱。不过考虑到本书给我的帮助，还是给出四星的评分吧。 @ 玄之 這是美國的高中教材。差距就是這麼一點一點形成的。 @ 雨果僧 大概翻了一下，是一本介绍python语法的书，适合入门？不知道呢=.= @ [已注销] 早4年读就好了 @ Sea 还是以前看的Python电子书籍。 @ 晓晓爱生活 用了python将近一年看的此书，虽说大部分基础已经会了，但是看之前感觉一定能有查漏补缺的地方，补充我基本概念理解不到位的地方。看完果然收获不小，不过也说明py还是不太好，哈哈。前面基本没学到啥，后面关于class的几章有不少启发，整体感觉不如hands-on那本那么容易入门，不过也还是属于入门图书 @ 麥-Albatross cs glossy 入门经典 @ 江湖小骗子 目前为止最喜欢的风格。。很喜欢 _(:3」∠)_ @ 没脚鸟 EdX上某门课的参考教材，如果把这本书当成python入门书，会觉得写得太浅。但正如题目所表明的，这本书的真实价值在于引导读者建立正确的思维方式。重读书中自己已经学习过的概念，依然会有新的收获和启发。第12-16章非常适合为OOP打基本功。
