@ 心夜 新版本的foreword又加入了和書裡不盡相同的一些地方 (除了Camp 14 更長時間是在Camp 18; 並不像之前寫的對外界完全無知; 他母親和哥哥不只是因為他告密要逃跑; 被torture不是在14歲被調查母親和哥哥逃跑而是20歲在第一次逃到中國被抓回之後, etc) 不過大部分都有被corroborated. (兩次逃到中國 尤其是第二次的經歷的一些"疑點"並沒有在新foreword里有更改 但那部分略讓人不太可信. 作者用traumatized/PTSD之類的來解釋Shin's inconsistencies 也只能當他是unreliable narrator了. @ 慕月 文笔一般，看到网上有报道说主角承认撒了谎，所以，最好别太当真。
